About OPEN JAPAN
OPEN JAPAN is an organization with its roots founded after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995.
We are currently focusing all of our resources towards disaster relief operations following the earthquake and tsunami which occurred off of Noto Peninsula on January 1st 2024.
Our members were on location by January 2nd, next day after the earthquake, and have since continued to perform such operations as: Rescuing survivors, missing persons search, removal of rubble, cooking warm meals and providing food/material/equipment support.
With years of experience, we have built a vast knowledge base and expertise in the field of disaster relief and survivor support, allowing us to provide the most effective and adequate actions necessary.
